Accredited Course Application

General

• Courses cannot be transferred to another learner.
• If a learner does not attend an online or face to face session, whichever is applicable, it will be the learner's responsibility to catch up on the session/s.
• The training material provided should not be shared with anyone else.
• Full instructions, including the calendar with number of sessions and times will be emailed to the email address provided.
• Charter Academy will not be held liable for any data or technological challenges.
• All data, transport, telephone calls, accommodation or travel costs associated with the training will be for the learner's account.
• Charter Academy reserves the right to change, add, remove parts of training material if necessary.
• Facilitators, venue, timetable and timing may change if necessary. Learners will be communicated of any changes made in due course.
• Learning material will be provided via the e-learning platform; login details will be provided once payment has been received.
• 100% of fees must be paid in order for your Portfolio of evidence to be assessed and moderated.
• Charter Academy reserves the right to postpone/cancel scheduled training if the minimum number of registrations per class is not achieved or for any unforeseen circumstances. Charter Academy will communicate alternative dates.
• Learners are responsible for making copies of their portfolios BEFORE submitting to the assessor as the files will be archived for five years and we will NOT be able to access it.
• Should a learner wish to transfer to a different group from one they have started in, a transfer cost of R1000 will be charged and this will be payable before transferring.
• Charter Academy will not be responsible if a learner drops out of the course for any reason.
• Charter Academy has no control over the Services SETA's timelines, i.e. the external moderation and certification dates.
• Once a signed application form and payment has been received by Charter, no refunds will be made.

Photography and Video

Charter Academy records all its online sessions and takes photographs during face-to-face sessions. By confirming your registration, you are confirming that you are aware of this and have no objections to your image or voice appearing in the recordings. However, if for any reason you do not wish for us to use your image or voice, please let us know in writing.

Intellectual Property

All course material including online facilitator presentations remain the intellectual property of Charter Academy or its licensors, whether adapted, written for or customised for the client or not.

You are not authorised to:

• copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-licence, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of the course material without prior written permission.
• record on video or audio tape, relay by videophone or other means the online or classroom content.
• use the course materials in the provision of any other course or training whether given by us or any third-party trainer.
• remove any copyright or other notice of Charter Academy on the learning material.
• modify, adapt, merge, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer (save to the extent permitted by law) any software forming part of the online content.

By signing this form, I confirm that all information supplied on this application form is true and accurate.
